Four 4-hour live Zoom sessions with JCR instructor Mike Waggoner covering every topic on the electrical exam — Wednesday evenings (5–9pm) and Saturday mornings (9am–1pm), July 15–25.

Already licensed? This workshop can count for 18 classroom CEUs in NC. Multi-state reporting available.

What You'll Learn

Day 1 - Foundation & Navigation

NEC structure, code navigation methods, Ohm’s Law, core electrical formulas, branch-circuit and feeder load calculations, standard vs. optional dwelling calculations, and service load calculations.

Day 2 - Application & Systems

Ampacity tables, conductor sizing, box fill, conduit and cable-tray fill, wire-bending space, motors and motor circuits, grounding and bonding, services, overcurrent protection, and special occupancies.

How to Prepare for This Workshop

This workshop is not a crash course. The four live virtual sessions complement our videos, mock exam, and workbooks. We recommend studying for at least 6 weeks before the exam. Our live sessions will benefit students at any point during their studies.

What if I can't attend both days?

Both days are required. You must attend the complete 16-hour workshop to receive materials and exam prep certification.

Can I get CEUs if I'm already licensed?

Yes. Licensed electricians receive 18 classroom CEUs in NC, plus an additional free online course for 24 total CEUs (equivalent to 3 years of credits in NC). check your state's CE requirements here or add multi-state reporting here.

Will this prepare me for exams in other states?
